Planning Strategies and Skills
Our mission at Sojo Education Advisors is to empower students to succeed in middle school, high school and beyond. We have extensive knowledge of academic settings and accommodations. We believe that every student deserves equal access to opportunities and are committed to making this goal a reality. Which school, college, academic setting best supports your learning needs? Our team works with students to help them set goals and provides the necessary resources and support to achieve those goals. From addressing the process of identifying documentation and applying for accommodations in the new academic setting, we are equipped to provide the guidance and advocacy needed. We work with students to help them set goals for after high school and take the required steps in choosing a college or other post secondary academic setting.

Planning Strategies and Skills 1:1 sessions include:
1. Planning for the transition into a new academic setting from high school to college.
2. Managing supports and services between different academic settings.
3. Understanding what accommodations are possible and what documentation is needed.
4. Preparing for a new setting as a neurodivergent learner.
5. Navigating the new academic setting and what to expect when starting out. What resources does the client require and what resources are available.
6. Creating a sense of confidence, competence and well being.
